When you sponsor an animal from OSCAR Animal Rescue, you are creating a unique bond. We understand that not everyone can adopt — that's why sponsoring an animal is a popular alternative. Our Animal Sponsorship Program lets you play an important role in helping support your favorite dog or cat.
Looking for a gift that's unusual and unconventional? Animal Sponsorships make great gifts, and you'll never have to worry about housebreaking them!
There is absolutely no minimum or maximum on sponsors for an OSCAR dog or cat. Each gift to our program is tax deductible. You can donate any amount, big or small, to their care — which includes check-up vet visits, basic shots, food, and preventatives.
To sponsor a pet, mail a check or make a donation through PayPal. Please include the animal's name along with your check, or in an email to OscarRescue@yahoo.com if donating online.
In Memorial / In Honor
Once you make a donation in memorial of someone who has passed, we send a sympathy card to the family for their loss, along with a donation letter to you.
If you'd like to mail a check, please enclose a note indicating the name of the deceased or honoree, the name and address of the person you wish us to contact, and who it is from. We will send a tribute card to the person you've indicated.

Planned Giving
You can make a gift to One Step Closer Animal Rescue, Inc. in your Will or Living Trust. A Will can name One Step Closer Animal Rescue, Inc. as a direct beneficiary for a specific sum of money, a specific asset (such as shares of stock), or real estate.
The gift can be an outright gift, or One Step Closer Animal Rescue, Inc. can be named as a residuary beneficiary — receiving the balance of a trust after specific amounts have been paid to other beneficiaries.
You can add One Step Closer Animal Rescue, Inc. to your existing Will through a codicil, without rewriting your Will.
